this is a fun tutorial for my students who wish to learn the basics of Excel. I used to teach this on the white board while my adult students moaned. I told them to pay attention because they would never forget this lesson. It is true. They still call the various characters when using Excel.
If you teach Excel to your students please feel free to use this tutorial..

Love the MIcemen!
Wish they had been around earlier before I spent heaps at Excel training seminars. Do they have any Macro friends?
I created this as a teaching aid when I taught at TAFE . I used the ‘on the whiteboard’ version for years while students moaned but I’ll bet they never forgot the lesson. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

This is really great content. I would like to
use your style to improve my own content on my website.
Thanks for these great content. Mastering excel is my desire and I found this site very helpful and encouraging me to learn excel more
You are welcome. Have fun with Excel.
Very clever and I can see why your students refer back to the characters. I knew that skinny man could copy information, I use it to put in patterns like days of the week or to repeat dates in several cells, but I didn’t realise it could be used to copy formulas and that it changed the formula to suit. That will save me time as I put the same formula across the bottom of the spreadsheet for my totals but was individually creating the formula for each column. I should have watched your video sooner.
I’ve also read your book Starting and Surviving Small Business in Australia and learned a lot from it. Itβs very popular at my local library. I look forward to reading your new book The Sky is not the Limit. I read about it via your website http://www.skynotlimit.com and it sounds very interesting.
