Years ago I saw this and typed it out and put it on my wall. Today I reread it. It may be time to make some more changes.
Every time you sincerely want to make a change, the first thing you must really do is to raise your standards. When people ask me what really changed my life eight years ago, I tell them that absolutely the most important thing was changing what I demanded of myself. I wrote down all the things I would no longer tolerate, and all the things that I aspired to becoming.
So what is it that I will no longer tolerate.
1. Bad English grammar – sorry but you are going to be corrected. I have a friend that says he is a custodian of the English language. I’m with him.
2. I am going to move away from the people around me who are not supportive of my new venture… That means seeking out those who are going in the same direction no matter where in the world they are. No I’m not going traveling – just yet
3. And I will no longer tolerate ‘clutter’. That means ‘flat surfaces are to be uncluttered’ – a place for everything or out it goes. And I refuse to clutter my brain with the rubbish that is on TV. If the best thing on TV is watching some drunken idiot break the rules, then it’s time to turn the TV off.
OK now its over to you. What won’t you tolerate any more?
